Sony re-launched their new DSLR, which successively replace old products:

* Alpha A230 ($ 550, 10 MP) - replaces A200

* Alpha A330 ($ 650, 10 MP, live view, tilt LCD) - replaces A300

* Alpha A380 ($ 850, 14 MP, live view, tilt LCD) - replaces A350

All three cameras have a more modern design and smaller than its predecessor, though still carrying the stabilizer system in the body that make this feature work on all the lenses used. For some reason Sony did not apply the movie features on the Alpha series, although it is not all photographers need. Live view A330 and A380 to still rely on the same techniques as before with a separate special sensor that makes it work in real time and quickly. Third new Sony camera is not working fast because only up to 2.5 fps continuous shooting (even down so 2 fps in live view mode).
Currently no info whether some deficiency in the absence of previous series such as live view histogram has been enhanced in this new series.
In addition to the three launches DSLR above, Sony also launched four new lenses (with the motor inside the lens micro SAM) and an external flash:

* SAM 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 standard zoom lens - $ 200

* SAM 55-200mm f/4-5.6 telephoto zoom lens - $ 230

* SAM 50mm f/1.8 prime - $ 150

* SAM DT 30mm F2.8 Macro - $?
